Dealing with Uncertainty

As you were growing up, how well do you think you coped with the challenges of navigating society, the economy, relationships, decision-making and your inner world? The world has always been complex but through the news and social media, we’re now much more aware of how deep that complexity goes and the very limited power we have to control externalities. All we can truly take accountability for is our internal world – something we as adults have come to learn with maturity and experience. However, we didn’t start this way.

It’s important we learn to function and potentially thrive despite the anxiety we may feel. I shared an extract about dealing with uncertainty in the Daily Maverick’s book feature of the week: you can read it here.
